Learning Outcomes
At the completion of this course, the student will understand the role of donors (individuals, corporate and governments) and their relationship to the developing countries, critically analyse the impact of philanthropic capitalism, be able to assess and evaluate interventions based on aid and emergency appeals, appreciate concepts such as global responsibility and accountability in the context of aid provision to the developing world.
