SummaryStudents who, having completed year two, have not met the requirements for the award of the Master in Arab World Studies with Arabic will be eligible for the award of the Postgraduate Diploma or a Postgraduate Certificate in Arab World Studies with Arabic in accordance with the core regulations and will not continue to the dissertation.

The dissertation will be 15,000 words in length (including footnotes and bibliography).

Students will receive regular supervision and will be expected to submit a detailed plan and at least one draft of their dissertation to their supervisor
