Additional Information (Assessment) In-course assessment will count for 10% of the Year 5 marks. The in-course assessment has been designed to make it as certain as possible that students are competent in this part of the curriculum, with multiple opportunities for re-testing during the course. Elements of assessment in will also occur in the end-of-year examination - the portfolio viva, the Clinical Practice examination, and the Safety in Practice examination.
