| Summary | Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies, also known as Prion Diseases have had a very high public profile in the last 10 years. They are infectious diseases but what is the causative agent? Scrapie, BSE and vCJD may have peaked - but look out for Chronic Wasting Disease. This topic will cover, in depth, the most pertinent areas of TSE biology and pathology - taught by a world-class group of scientists. |
