On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. At the end of the course, students should:
    - have improved their competence in using logical methods in philosophy;
    - these include a familiarity with logic at "intermediate" level;
    - have improved their familiarity with some of the main topics in contemporary work in logic, philosophy of logic and language, and related areas.
