Summary | The course will introduce the discipline of modern Physiology and emphasise the multidisciplinary nature of the subject. Students will be introduced to current concepts in human and mammalian physiology starting from gene expression, through protein and cell physiology, culminating in organ and systems physiology. Modern approaches and techniques for the study of physiology will also be discussed. Teaching will take the form of lectures, demonstrations, and self-directed group tasks. |
