|Summary||An introduction to the principles and practices of conflict transformation and peacebuilding which focuses on the dynamics and stages of conflict and practical approaches to transforming it.

|Pre-requisites||Visiting students should have at least 3 Divinity/Religious Studies courses at grade B or above (or be predicted to obtain this). We will only consider University/College level courses.

| After successful completion of this course, a student will:
1) be able to demonstrate understanding of some of the key dimensions of Conflict transformation, including the definition and dynamics of conflict and approaches to transforming it;
(2) have engaged critically with primary sources on conflict, peacebuilding, conflict transformation, dialogue and mediation;
(3) be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver a presentation for a seminar;
(4) have participated in constructive discussion and debate with other seminar members in a respectful manner.
