Learning Outcomes 
    Students will develop and enhance their understanding and experience with essential laboratory techniques.  Upon completion students will be able to: 
¿	design an experiment, develop hypotheses, understand appropriate experimental controls, recording and analysis of data  
¿	prepare reagents, carry out assay techniques, use microscopes and laboratory equipment 
¿	understand and have experience of cell culture and microbiology  
¿	perform a bioinformatics analysis and use publicly available databases 
¿	understand modern immunological methods, genetic manipulations, molecular biology techniques.
