Aims of course
1 To define a research problem and identify a site of appropriate scope to be developed as the dissertation and major design portfolio at Masters level.

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. define a research problem and method.
2. undertake a literature review around a research topic.
3. define a design brief of an appropriate scope. |
Assessment Information
Assessment plan
Must be passed at grade C or above, or equivalent to progress to MSc.
Students must pass all learning outcomes. The aggregation of failed Learning outcomes with passing learning outcomes to generate an overall pass mark is not permitted. Failure of one learning outcome will result in a Forced Fail (FF) outcome. Students are permitted two attempts to pass this course. |
