Course description | This course aims to give you an understanding from the molecular mechanisms through the physiology and pathophysiology of conception, contraception, assisted reproduction, pregnancy and parturition, and reproductive cancers. It will develop your understanding of the experimental evidence from in vitro, in vivo, animal models and clinical trials. This will be set in the translational context of clinical issues in the fields of gynaecology, obstetrics, urology and neonatology |

At completion of this course you will have gained a:
¿ Knowledge of conception, contraception, assisted reproduction, pregnancy and parturition, and reproductive cancers, from their molecular mechanisms, physiology and pathophysiology.
¿ Critical understanding of experimental evidence from a wide range of in vitro, in vivo, animal models and clinical trials.
¿ Knowledge and critical understanding in the translational context of clinical issues in the fields of gynaecology, obstetrics, urology and neonatology.
¿ Scientific communication skills including oral and poster presentations |
