Course descriptionThis 4 week long course will prepare enrolled students to provide safe, effective clinical management of patients within the joint University/NHS Prosthodontic Unit. Students will attend a series of lectures, series and clinical skills sessions that will provide instruction in contemporary operative techniques and instruction in patient management and effective communication.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
By The End of this course students will:
1. Be familiar with the M Clin Dent Programme design, structure and assessment requirements.
2. Have an understanding of how specialist Prosthodontic care is delivered within the NHS.
3. Be able to demonstrate knowledge of contemporary operative clinical practice and demonstrate competence in simulated, practical clinical exercises.
4. Gain insight into effective Patient management and communication skills.
