| Course description | - Do you want to understand how we use imaging to detect diseases affecting the nervous system e.g. Schizophrenia & Depression?
- Would you like to find out how we use imaging to look at brain anatomy or curious about how we monitor brain function?
- Are you interested in setting up & running experiments which use neuroimaging as an investigative tool?
- This course will provide a background in key technical aspects of neuroimaging, including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) & Functional Imaging.
- It will discuss practical neuroimaging aspects and key health & safety issues.
- It will give a brief overview of how neuroimaging techniques have helped advance the understanding and treatment of brain disorders.
- It will discuss key points of relevance between experimental model imaging and human imaging.
