| Course description | Students carry out original research on an approved 12-week project in a neuroscience laboratory. It is permissible for this to be an extension of the same project and/or in the same laboratory as Research Training I.

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes 
To acquire skills in design of experiments and in methods and techniques in neuroscience research; To become fluent with good laboratory practice; To make appropriate quantitative and/or statistical analysis of neuroscience data; To analyse and present the neuroscientific content of published research or conference proceedings.
