Course description | The course will cover the biochemistry of molecular interactions, including interactions between small molecules, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids and carbohydrates. Examples of current biochemical research in health and disease will be explored. |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, students will be able to:
Describe the chemical mechanisms of many of the interactions between biomolecules
Explain and have the ability to manipulate thermodynamic data
Explore intermolecular interfaces in 3D structures of proteins using Pymol
Search, read and critically evaluate the relevant literature
Write an informative, interesting and creative essay |
