Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. To review the historical literature and identify the research milestones that directly contributed to our current understanding of the field of research addressed by the objectives of the research project.

2. To write an historical perspective that addresses controversies, past and present, and thus places each research milestone in order defined by their respective timeline. In doing so one should develop an accurate description of current wisdom in the field.
