Course description | This course is aimed at offering a selection of cutting-edge topics in ethics, with a particular focus on meta-ethics, and thus the ontology, epistemology, and semantics of morality. Possible
topics include: non-naturalism, naturalism, error-theory, expressivism, and response-dependence analyses. Students on this course would ordinarily be expected to have successfully completed the corresponding Ethics course (PHIL11129).

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
Students will develop their knowledge of key issues in contemporary ethics. They will also develop their skills in critical thinking and in the oral and written presentation of philosophical arguments. |
Assessment Information
Students will be assessed by a 2500 word essay (85%) and successful participation in on-line activities associated with the course (15%). |
