| Course description | This course will develop the students' ability to think critically
about psychology, and to integrate their knowledge across the range of
psychological topics. Teaching will be in small groups, and students
will be given the opportunity to present their work, and to obtain
immediate feedback from the tutor and from their peers. |

| Pre-requisites | Degree major in Psychology and passes in Psychology courses at least to the equivalent of Junior Honours level in Edinburgh. Prior agreement with the 4th Year Honours Course Organiser |

Summary of Intended Learning Outcomes
After following this course, students will be able to:
1. Think critically about psychology
2. Appreciate the relevance of psychology to other domains, such as
current affairs
3. Construct an argument using knowledge from a wide range of
psychological topics.

One piece of written work (of a maximum 1000 words), a Powerpoint presentation or a poster per Block, to be weighted equally.
Marks for Tutorial Attendance and Participation (5% per block) and Oral or Written Assessment (45% per block) |
