Degree Programme Table: Medical Law and Ethics (Online Distance Learning) (LLM) (Part-time) - 20 Months (PTLLMMELDL2P)

Year 1, Academic year 2015/16, Starting month: January

  • Notes: On this route of study, students should take 80 credits in Year 1 and 40 credits in Year 2. Students studying part-time must take at least one module per semester. 120 taught credits must be completed before embarking on the dissertation stage.
    Please note that a minimum of 80 credits (four modules) must be selected from the core module group (Group A) for this programme. These core modules can be spread over the duration of the programme. For further information on the core modules for this programme see: http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrc/teaching/llm/llmmedicallaw/
    A maximum of 40 credits (two modules) can be taken from the optional group of modules (Group B) in this programme.
    The dissertation is compulsory and must be taken in the student's final year on completion of the taught element of the programme (ie 120 credits/six modules).
