Learning Outcomes
By the conclusion of the course, students should be able to:
1) outline the main beliefs and practices of the three traditions studied;
2) make historical and thematic connections and relate these to contemporary situations;
3) identify problems in terminology and classifications used to describe the religious traditions studied;
4) compare the main beliefs and practices of the religions studied;
5) demonstrate an ability to identify key terms and their meanings;
6) demonstrate good judgement about how to judge the relative importance of items on course bibliographies.
