SummaryThis course is designed to review clinical operative techniques in the management of dental caries. It will review isolation techniques with rubber dam, cavity preparation, the use of dental matrices and modern techniques for the placement of direct dental restorative materials.

To know the principles of preventive and operative management of dental caries.
To begin development of the principles of self-evaluation in restorative procedures
To have reviewed and updated some traditional operative skills.
To understand the efficacy of restorative procedures in the light of current knowledge
