Reading List
There are a number of good texts on corporate finance. Two which emphasise applications of theory to financial management in practice are:
Brealey, R., Myers, S. and Allen, F., (11th ed., 2014), Principles of Corporate Finance, McGraw-Hill.
Berk, J. and DeMarzo, P. (3rd ed., 2014), Corporate Finance, Pearson.

Two books which mainly explain theory are:
Copeland, T.E., Weston, J.F. and Shastri, K. Financial Theory and Corporate Policy (4th ed., 2008), Pearson.
Danthine, J-P. and Donaldson, J.B. (3rd ed., 2014), Intermediate Financial Theory, Elsevier.

Earlier editions of any of these are also fine. We will only be covering some of the chapters, so none are required purchases. Most of the empirical section of the course will consist of the study of selected journal papers.
