SummaryThis course consists of two semesters (minimum twenty-two weeks) spent abroad studying Persian language and culture at a university or other approved institution in a Persian-speaking country.
Course description Students will improve their knowledge of the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in Persian Language as well as broaden their familiarity with Persian/Iranian and Islamic/ Middle Eastern culture. This will include contact hours at the language institution, guided study, and independent learning.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. improve their knowledge of the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking in persian.
  2. engage in converstion on a variety of topics.
  3. produce complex written arguments in Persian.
  4. broaden their familiarity with Persian/Iranian and Islamic/Middle Eastern culture.
