Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Evidence participation in an independent study project which will allow the student to explore aspects of audio and musical acoustics.
- Understand the musical acoustics of a particular instrument.
- Gain an understanding of physical modeling, including programming in the Matlab environment.
- Demonstrate an awareness of audio effect design, including programming in the Matlab environment.
