Learning Outcomes
The student will be provided with a fundamental understanding of the following concepts: Head and neck, meninges, cortex, trigeminovascular system, brainstem and autonomic nervous system; The pathophysiology of a migraine attack, The neurobiology, neurochemistry and neuropharmacology of migraine; The pathophysiology of trigeminal autonomic cephalagias and tension type headache; The pathophysiology of chronic headache.
