On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Understanding of sociological debate about the concept of intimacy
  2. Knowledge and theoretical understanding enabling you to engage in debate about variation and social change in personal relationships
  3. Familiarity with ethical issues raised in researching families, personal relationships and some (albeit modest) experience of the range of methods used in researching personal life
