SummaryThis course is designed to introduce students to basic skills and syntax in Stata necessary for analysing complex survey data. This will include selecting variables of interest from multiple datasets and merging these into new datasets, checking and cleaning datasets, and learning time-saving tricks to manipulate data ¿ including recodes, generating new variables, creating tables in word or excel format using Stata syntax.
