SummaryThis is an option course for the MSc Dementia: International Experience, Policy and Practice.

This course will be delivered entirely online.

The course aims to support students to develop an enhanced understanding of dementia in people with an intellectual disability. It will include international perspectives on research, policy and practice.

Additional Information (Assessment) Case study report. Students will develop a care and support system based on a real example. They will contribute to this weekly based on their learning and reading. A template will be provided for the case report although students have the flexibility to add additional detail. Content will include text, reflection, hyperlinks and future planning information based on policy and good practice guidance. 50%
