| Summary | This is an 11 week studio project using the computer for design and presentation work. Students will work on a project that brings together their various design, composition and/or performance skills in the context of a digital installation. The course will be conducted as a studio with iterative development, group discussion, design development, presentations, simulation, criticism, and feedback. Tuition will be provided in the use of computer tools and devices where applicable. The course will be run in conjunction with Digital Media Studio Project (P00179) but with the expectation that the work will have advanced to a more developed level of production. |

On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of collaborative digital studio practice
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the methods and constraints of working towards a public exhibition or showcase of digital design work
- Consolidate design skills in the context of developing an installation or other practice based artefact
- Integrate and assimilate a broad knowledge of diverse disciplines, technologies and media appropriate to the project context
- Research, respond to and progress theoretical perspectives appropriate to the project context
