SummaryStudents will be required to spend a total of 30 weeks attending university in Japan and following a programme of approved study. They will normally participate in an exchange with one of our partner universities in Japan, where Japanese language classes for foreign students will form part of the curriculum. The course aims to enable students to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Japanese language (developing their skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening) and culture through living and studying in Japan.
Course description Students will take intensive Japanese courses at one of our partner universities in Japan. Classes at Japanese universities will cover all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) and will be taught and assessed according to each university's local practice.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Read Japanese texts that correspond to Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level N2.
  2. Write business level Japanese.
  3. Hold conversations in Japanese that use advanced (N2) vocabulary and grammar.
