Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. demonstrate an understanding of the way linguists approach problems in the description of ancient Hebrew
  2. exhibit a detailed understanding of classical Hebrew syntax
  3. translate ancient Hebrew texts into English, and defend their translation choices
  4. offer an historical perspective on the Hebrew language before the turn of the era
