The MSc by Research dissertation provides the opportunity to thoroughly research and develop an original and engaging research question, producing as a result a full proposal for PhD/MPhil research. The dissertation should include:
a comprehensive review of relevant literature, through which the rationale for, and the precise nature of, the proposed research question is developed, and
a discussion of the proposed research design and methodology through which this research question can be investigated
