| Course description |
This course introduces students to cutting-edge research in contemporary epistemology. Students will (i) attend meetings of the Epistemology Research Seminar (at which visiting speakers present their research), (ii) participate in tutorials, and (iii) develop a research paper under the supervision of one of the members of Edinburgh's Epistemology Research Cluster.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- discuss the latest cutting edge research in epistemology (as presented by Epistemology Research Group speakers)
- engage critically in contemporary debates in epistemology.
- formulate questions and positions of relevance in contemporary epistemology skills in writing a short critical paper on a current theme in epistemology.

Reading List
Readings will include new or in-progress papers by ERG speakers, as well as relevant background papers, to be determined by the speaker and announced before each tutorial on Learn.
