On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- identify and understand key texts, historical events and ideas in the development of neo-Calvinism
- develop a critical reading of neo-Calvinist thought in its original and contemporary forms
- develop critical skills in the application of theological thought to cultural and ethical questions
- engage in constructive scholarly debate with other seminar members
