Year 1 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: September

Notes:
A total of 180 credits (the compulsory courses worth 20 credits, the Dissertation worth 60 credits, plus 100 credits from the Course Options) must be successfully taken to achieve the MSc.

By the end of year 4 at the latest and prior to progression to the dissertation element of the programme, students must complete the taught element of the programme:
- compulsory course worth 10 credits (Medical Informatics, MCLM11037). This course may be taken in either year 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the programme.
- compulsory course worth 10 credits (Research and Evaluation in eHealth, GLHE11039). This course may be taken in either year 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the programme.
- 100 credits of optional courses (from either the Data Science and/or Health Care and Medical Informatics courses).

These courses are limited to students registered on the programme.
We recommend that students take no more than 60 credits in any one year.
