Half of the full-time credit load must be taken in each year. Exact arrangements can be arranged to suit the individual student's requirements but this must be discussed with the Director of Studies before any courses are chosen.

Students are required to choose 40 credits of pre-1800 courses and 40 credits of post-1800 courses as part of their elective courses across both semesters (across Year 1 and Year 2).

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

Please note, students must undertake both Research: Theories and Methods and The Cultures and Politics of Display as compulsory courses for this programme. However, students may take 1 of each course per year if undertaken as part-time.
