Year 1 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: September

Notes:
This programme allows students to follow a 'track specific' route of study.

Please note that TWO of the core courses listed in the first container ((VESC11109 and VESC11101) are core for ALL students on the programme.

Students are also then required to take ONE of the core 'Recent Advances in ...' courses and ONE of the core 'Standard Diagnostic Testing ...' courses from the Core list, depending on which track they are following.

Certificate students must also complete 20 credits of electives from the list of courses in the Electives collection. Diploma students must complete 60 credits of electives from the list of courses in the Electives collection. You will be notified by email announcement at the times during the year when you should consider your electives. Electives should be chosen to fit with the appropriate 'track' of study. For guidance on track specific electives, please email Sharon.Boyd@ed.ac.uk.

**Please note that not all courses listed as Electives will necessarily be available every year**

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.
