Year 2 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
Progression to Year 2 normally requires passes in at least 80 credit points worth of courses in Year 1.

In addition, entry to Year 2 is normally only permitted if the following pre-requisite courses are passed:

- ELEE08001: Electrical Engineering 1
- MATH08074: Engineering Mathematics 1a, or MATH08057: Introduction to Linear Algebra
- MATH08075: Engineering Mathematics 1b, or MATH08058: Calculus and its Applications.

Year 3 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
Progression to Year 3 normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses in Year 2. The 100 credit points passed must be from the list of courses given in Year 2 of the Degree Programme Table (DPT) of the student's chosen degree programme.

In addition, entry to Year 3 is normally only permitted if the following pre-requisite courses are passed:

- ELEE08016: Analogue Circuits 2
- ELEE08015: Digital System Design 2
- SCEE08008: Power Engineering 2
- ELEE08020: Microelectronics 2
- ELEE08014: Electronics Project Laboratory 2A, or ELEE08019: Electronics Project Laboratory 2B.

Year 4 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
1. Progression to year 4 normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses, including 'Resit for Professional Purposes', AND an average of 40% across all courses. See the School Handbook for full details.

2. Graduation normally requires passes in at least 100 credit points worth of courses, including 'Resit for Professional Purposes', AND an average of 40% across all courses. See the School Handbook for full details.

3. Entry to the 4th year normally requires two or more prior years of instruction in a UK institution, or satisfactory completion of English language training as indicated by a TEAM test.
