Year 2 Academic year: 2017/18, Starting in: August

Notes:
Students who have passed courses to the required value of 240 credits, and achieved marks of 50% or more at the first attempt in all required second-year courses for their registered degree, are automatically entitled to progress to honours. Students who are planning on spending their Junior Year Abroad must successfully progress to honours before they can proceed on their exchange.

Selections from this list should normally include Social Development.

In consultation with their Personal Tutor, students are required to choose SIX honours-level elective courses (totalling 120 credits) over the two Honours years. Of these, not less than TWO and not more than FOUR must be Social Anthropology courses, and the remainder must be development-related courses either in the School of Social and Political Science, or in other parts of the University if there is substantial social science and development content.
