On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- ¿ Understanding of sociological debate about the concept of intimacy
- ¿ Knowledge and theoretical understanding enabling you to engage in debate about variation and social change in personal relationships
- ¿ Familiarity with ethical issues raised in researching families, personal relationships and some (albeit modest) experience of the range of methods used in researching personal life
