This information is correct for students in year 2 in session 17/18. Students entering year 2 in session 18/19 will be required to take Introduction to Historiography.

There are no compulsory courses in this year of this programme.

Entry into Honours normally requires
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) passes at 50% or above, achieved at the first attempt, in 40 credits of second year History courses and in 40 credits of second year Classics courses.
