Entry into third year honours normally requires (i) passes in all courses (240 credits) in the first two years, and (ii) a mark of 50% or above at the first attempt in two Business courses in second year - but not including Business Research Methods I: Quantitative Techniques (from 2016/17 this course has been re-named Business Research Methods I: Introduction to Data Analysis). One of the two Business courses with a mark of 50% or above must be in Management Science and Information Systems (from 2016/17 this course has been re-named Business Analytics and Information Systems).
Students in Year 3 must take a minimum of TWO taught courses (40 credits) per semester.
Students who spend their third year abroad at a partner university must complete and pass a full year's diet of examinable subjects (equivalent to 120 credits), the majority of which must be in Business and Decision Sciences. All students must complete and pass an equivalent course to the year 3 compulsory course Strategic Management.
