Pre-requisitesEntry to any language course above introductory level is subject to a language test by the relevant subject area on arrival and at the discretion of the course organiser. Students entering this course should come with a B2/C1 of Russian as a minimum. Students who do not perform at this level will be moved to ELCR08003 Russian Language 2

Learning Outcomes
-To further develop some essential language skills in reading, listening comprehension, writing and speaking Russian.
-To further develop translation skills and further encourage grammatical and syntactical accuracy as well as a higher degree of spoken Russian -- than in Russian 2.
-To provide an opportunity for independent study and to promote the effective use of reference resources and authentic language materials.
