On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Appreciate the role of zoonoses in our changing world.
  2. Understand the evolution of these parasites, and the pressure that has shaped their population.
  3. Appreciate the biogeography of zoonoses.
  4. Understand the integration of human, animal and ecosystem health in the control and prevention of these diseases.
