|Summary||Elective course for the MSc by Research in Integrative Neuroscience.
Students take part in taught Electives and then carry out original research on an approved 12-week project in a neuroscience laboratory.
Electives will be introduced during the first week and students will be allocated on a first come first served basis via Learn. Thus each week will include seminars, workshops, tutorials, literature reviews and student presentations to cover the scope and foundations of contemporary neuroscience.

|Graduate Attributes and Skills
||Students will develop a critical understanding of the principal theories and concepts in their chosen elective field of interest. They will learn to apply critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis to forefront issues in their elective field of interest. They will learn to critically evaluate numerical and graphical data. Students will learn to communicate with peers, more senior colleagues and specialists.
