SummaryThe aim of this course is to review development disorders of the teeth and advanced restorative dentistry for the child patient.
Course description This module aims to review the aetiology, presentation, diagnosis, non-invasive/invasive management and sequellae of development disorders.

Learning Outcomes
On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Describe and identify the different types of developmental disorders
  2. Identify the aetiology and identification of non-carious tooth surface loss and identify the sequellae of development disorders and non-carious tooth surface loss
  3. Describe and plan the management of different types of development disorders
  4. Describe and plan the prevention and management of non-carious tooth surface loss
  5. Demonstrate clinical skills in relation to developmental disorders and non-carious tooth surface loss
