On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. To be able to confidently upload and manipulate data sets into R
  2. To understand the concepts of data structures, functions and transforming data
  3. To generate simple graphical output from R, and to format such output for publication
  4. To become aware of the capabilities of a range of important R packages for epidemiology
  5. To be able to generate graphical summaries of spatial data perform basic analyses
