On completion of this course, the student will be able to:
  1. Demonstrate a critical understanding of current issues relating to the application of population genetics in reintroductions, tranlocations and population monitoring.
  2. Be able to apply population genetic theory and conduct appropriate data analysis relevant to informing reintroductions, translocations and population monitoring.
  3. Communicate the results of population genetic analysis to relevant stakeholders involved in conservation planning.
