Entry into the third year normally requires:
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years,
(ii) an average mark of 50% or above, at first attempt, between LEL2A: Linguistic Theory and the Structure of English and LEL2C: English in Time and Space, and
(iii) an average mark of 50% or above, at first attempt, in either Greek 2A and 2B, or in Greek 2a Ex-Beginners and Greek 2B, or in Latin 2A and 2B, or in Latin 2a Ex-Beginners and Latin 2B.
Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.

The credits for your courses should total 120 in each year.
