Year 1 Academic year: 2018/19, Starting in: September

Notes:
Before selecting your outside courses, please ensure you have met your Personal Tutor.

Upon successful completion of Year 1:

1. Students who have taken Chemical Engineering 1, Chemistry 1A and Chemistry 1B may transfer into Year 2 of one of the following programmes:
- Chemical Engineering (BEng Hons)
- Chemical Engineering with Management (BEng Hons)

2. Students who have taken Civil Engineering 1 may transfer into Year 2 of one of the following programmes:
- Civil Engineering (BEng Hons)
- Structural and Fire Safety Engineering (BEng Hons)

3. Students who have taken Electrical Engineering 1 may transfer into Year 2 of one of the following programmes:
- Electrical Engineering with Renewable Energy (BEng Hons)
- Electronics and Electrical Engineering (BEng Hons)
- Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Management (BEng Hons)

4. Students who have taken Mechanical Engineering 1 may transfer into Year 2 of one of the following programmes:
- Mechanical Engineering (BEng Hons)
- Mechanical Engineering with Management (BEng Hons)
- Mechanical Engineering with Renewable Energy (BEng Hons)

5. Students who have taken Electrical Engineering 1 and Mechanical Engineering 1 may transfer into Year 2 of one of the following programmes:
- Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (BEng Hons)
- Engineering for Sustainable Energy (BEng Hons)

6. Students who have taken Informatics 1, Computation and Logic, Informatics 1, Functional Programming, Informatics 1, Object-Oriented Programming and Informatics 1, Data and Analysis may transfer into Year 2 of a joint programme in Electronics and Computer Science.
