All first year students should make an appointment with their Personal Tutor during Induction Week. Please consider your outside course options from the list of course options indicated below, and take a draft plan to your meeting with your Personal Tutor.

Notes:
'The Roman World 1A: The Rise of Rome' and 'The Roman World 1B: The Roman Empire', or 'Greek 1A' and 'Greek 1B', or 'Greek 1C' and 'Greek 1D' are recommended.

Year 2 Academic year: 2018/19, Starting in: August

Notes:
During Induction Week, please ensure you have met with your Personal Tutor to confirm your course choices and attendance.

Notes:
Course(s) in second year must follow on from courses already passed in first year in the sense defined in the College Regulations.

Level 7 and 8 courses in Schedules A to Q, T and W


Year 3 Academic year: 2018/19, Starting in: August

Notes:
Entry into the third year normally requires:
(i) passes in 240 credits of courses taken in the first two years, and
(ii) passes at 50% or above, at first attempt, in Latin 2A and Latin 2B or in Latin 2a Ex-Beginners and Latin 2B .

Entry to honours in Classics remains at the discretion of the Head of Classics in the light of performance across all courses.

1. Latin Language (B) MUST be taken if Latin Language (A) was not completed in Year 3, unless exemption has been given by the Head of Classics.
2. Latin Language (B) cannot be taken if Latin Language (A) has already been studied in Year 3.
